Born and raised in a quaint colonial town in New Jersey, Sarah’s fashion obsession began at a very young age. Her earliest memories are watching her Mother try on clothes in the dressing room at Saks Fifth Avenue. Trailing her fashionista mother through countless department stores quickly evolved into collecting and stockpiling 17 Magazine.
After graduation from college, she flew to Europe and started working at a modeling agency in Milan, and then on to Paris. She returned to NY and worked in showrooms at Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein. Inspired by the stylists who came into the showrooms, she then moved to Toronto where she started styling . After a year of building her portfolio, she came back to NY and assisted celebrity stylist Arianne Phillips (Madonna, Britney Spears) and worked in film: Copland (starring Robert De Niro) and Oxygen (starring Adrien Brody). After that, Sarah started working on her own and quickly landed on two episodes of MTV’s Mission: Makeover with Molly Sims. Since then, she has worked with The Seinfelds, Susan Sarandon, Amanda Peet, Rachel Weisz and Glenn Close. She has consulted with Issey Miyake and Anne Klein. She has worked for Harpers Bazaar, InStyle, Details, Blackbook, Noise and many other American and International Magazines. She has been a personal shopper for music, entertainment and business executives and started the Virtual Closet, a simple way to meet her clients needs while they are on the road or long distance.
